Mixed Grill Favorites Podcast -- Belinda Spiwak

I can't remember how I first became aware of Belinda, because she is everywhere. She is one busy lady. In addition to her art and her internet activities, she's a mom to two active kids, a 6th grade teacher and a graduate student!

• In my mind, Belinda is the Dremel lady. She talks about lots of ways to use the tool.
• She hosts a Yahoo! Group, Mixed Media Art Friends.
• The first book that the group studied together was Kelli Perkin's Stitch Alchemy.
• The book they are currently working through is Mixed Mania: Recipes for Delicious Mixed Media Creations by Debbi Crane and Cheryl Prater.
• Belinda was featured in a Quilting Arts TV DVD. You can view the instructions for her projects online. You do have to register, but it's free and the information is great!
• Belinda will be teaching three classes at Make-It-University in Chicago, as well as being one of the Open Studio Artists. MIU is co-sponsored by Quilting Arts Magazine and Cloth Paper Scissors.
